Particularly fluent was the winner of the older pony Class (age 8 and up) the brilliant and experienced French- born Eventing pony Iratu Varagnac (Abbeyleix Fionn – Siobhán)- Siobhán traces back to Tulira Rocket of Showjumping fame. The 13 year old gelding, (who came to the Co. Kerry Moffatt family via France and England), and rider Katie Moffatt proved to be a winning combination and the pair have also been recently selected for the Irish Pony Eventing high performance squad.

Iratu continues to do brilliantly.
He won the pony 2* yesterday with a dressage score of 23! he jumped really well , in terribly wet conditions, clear cross country and just one down show jumping.

IRATU won at the ROYAL DUBLIN SHOW !
Iratu won at Dublin!!!
He is Champion connemara performance hunter of Ireland.
He scored very highly in his flatwork, jumping and got the best mark of all the ponies for his conformation.

Calverstown

Calverstown
Just to let you know that iratu won the RDS connemara performance hunter qualifier on wednesday.
This means he is in the final at the Royal Dublin Horse show , which is the biggest show in Ireland!
He has been going well eventing and if you go to www.maneeventfoto.com and click on Calverstown pony 2*, you will see some lovely photos of Iratu and katie, she is in pink.
He had the same score as the winner but was placed 2 nd as he went too fast on the xc!!!
